History
In 1946 Preston Zimmerman founded "Professional Speech Aid Service", as Professional Hearing Aid Service, in Hartford, CT, later adding electronic speech aids/instruments and amplifier systems.
Professional Hearing & Speech Aid Service relocated to the town of Salem, CT in April 1992 after his passing. Now known as "Professional Speech Aid Service", it is now directed by his daughter, Roseann Zimmerman George.
Products and services include electronic speech prostheses; electronic voice amplification systems, some of which are "hands-free" model, and stoma care supplies.
The speech instruments/prostheses are used by people whose larynx has been removed or is not functioning. The amplifier systems are for people who have developed voice disorders or may require a "boost" in the volume.
Professional Speech Aid Service remains a family-owned business whose
goal is to "keep the world speaking".
We look forward to speaking with you. |
