NU-VOIS Electronic speech prostheses

Created by Mountain Precision Manufacturing in Boise, Idaho, and proudly distributed by Professional Speech Aid Service, they have been designing and manufacturing top quality electronic and mechanical devices for over twenty years. They strive to improve their products through innovative design and engineering, utilizing the latest "state of the art" electronics.

Their first model, Nu-Vois, had manual control of pitch and volume. The next model incorporated upgraded electronics and was called Nu-Vois I. The first digital model, Nu-Vois II, was released in early 1999, and allowed the volume and tonal adjustments to be stored in an electronic memory chip. Being digital has reduced the effects of wear, dirt and mechanical problems. In late 2000 reliability was brought to a new level with the inclusion of switches designed by Mountain Precision Manufacturing creating the Nu-Vois III, and has a warranty of 5 years.

Nu-Vois I
The Nu-Vois I has manual control of pitch and volume.

Nu-Vois II
The Nu-Vois II has digital control of pitch and volume.

Nu-Vois III Digital
The Nu-Vois III Digital has dual control buttons each independently adjustable for volume and tone without disassembly. Dual volume buttons sweep volume smoothly up or down.

The complete kit includes: Nu-Vois III Digital speech instrument, 2 rechargeable 9.6 volt NiMH batteries, battery charger, oral adapter & tubes, use and care guide, and manufacturer's 5-year warranty.

All models can be powered by a 9.6 volt rechargeable battery OR a 9volt alkaline battery.
All models unit weight, including battery, is 4.5oz.
