Sakonnet Riders off to Japan

Sakonnet's Andy Guptill and Guy East will be joining the U.S Espoir and Junior
National Teams respectively for November 13th's Tour de Okinawa Road Race.
The senior event is an Elite UCI race that is held over 200km.

 

Giannini Resurfaces

Sakonnet's Robbie Giannini who has been injured for most of the season
resurfaced to win the Pro event at the Winding Trails mountain bike race
this weekend. Robbie describes the course as fast and not very technical
and as a battle ground where he and Sakonnet teammate Andy Guptill used
fight as juniors. Robbie easily took the uphill finish for 1st Place.

In other Giannini news, Robbie finished in 9th Place at the Pittsfield Cyclo-Cross
event on October 2nd in Pittsfield, MA.
