6/28-7/2
Fitchburg-Longsjo Stage Race (NRC 2.3) Fitchburg, MA
Caleb Fairly showed that he's more than a climber at this storied northeast classic. The event started with a time trial followed by a circuit race, road race and then a criterium. Fairly was expected to shine in Saturday's road race but he flew the team colors a day earlier by finishing in 11th Place at the tough circuit race.
After a day of rest Caleb was at it again in the criterium. His teammates road strongly from the get go covering moves until Chris Kuhl bridged to a strong group of 10 riders. Kuhl road the break for the middle laps of the race before the move came back. David Wiswell then took over where Kuhl left off by being in the "final" break of the day. With three to go David was gunning for a top 8 placing but a $1,100 prime blew the break to pieces. They came back but not before David won a hot spot sprint and picked up a couple of thirds as well.
In the end it was Caleb's smart positioning that took top honors and the highest placing yet in an NRC event for the team as he sprinted to 10th Place.

Chris Ruhl road a strong criterium on the final day to sprint to a 7th Place in the Cat 2 race.

6/27 Floyd Bennet Field Series #2 Brooklyn, NY
As a warm up before Fitchburg the teams Lee Rosenthal and Caleb Fairly lined up for this midweek event. Strong winds and bad roads mark this course and it was Rosenthal sprinting out of break that took 5th Place on the day.

Saturn Rochester Twilight Criterium (NRC 1.4) Rochester, NY
The team traveled to western NY to tackle this intriguing race which is run similarly to the famous Athens Twilight. With an 8pm start and big crowds a good time was had by all. The race was blistering fast and the field shredded in the opening laps. Riding strongly and in the money for Sakonnet was Caleb Fairly (23rd Place) and Guy East (42nd Place).
