Louis started his competitive cycling career on the BMX circuit. In 2003 with the aid of a friend of the family Luis was introduced to road racing. Since that time he has dropped the BMX bike and is now focusing solely on the road. Louis' weight to strength ratio makes him a natural climber, what you wouldn't expect is that he actually packs quite a punch in a field sprint thanks to his BMX days. Louis is a sophmore at Staten Island University where he is majoring in business administration.
